Persevere Until the End

Whatever trial we may be facing, whatever tribulation we may be fighting and whatever storm we may be suffering, God will rescue us. His mercy will never fail. His spirit will never leave us. He will always be there for us. Our hope is in Jesus.

“But you, beloved, building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life.”

(Jude 1:20-21)

Believe that Jesus is the Son of God and your salvation is sure. For no sin is greater than God’s forgiveness. God the Father’s deposit of the Holy Spirit in us is our guarantee of that salvation, through Christ our Lord’s sacrifice.

Stand firm in the sight of turmoil. Steady yourself and wait for God’s mercy to fall upon your life. No one can take away your hope in Christ. For that hope is what will carry us through the fire and mold us into what we will be.

Believe God and He will not fail us. His peace is with us now, through the Holy Spirit who lives in us. We can do all things through Jesus. He is the One who strengthens us. He will lead us away from the fiery grave. Persevere until the end.

Walk in the Light

Brethren, do as Jesus did, doing all that our Heavenly Father taught us through His Son. For through Him, we have life and our salvation is in Him, whom God has given, so that we also will one day stand before God and receive our eternal reward.

“If we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.”

(1 John 1:7)

Jesus is all we need. God will forgive us if we believe Jesus is His Son. If we walk in His ways, doing good to all, blessing those who curse us, giving to the poor, showing mercy to those who spite us, then we indeed will know Him.

If we do not do as Jesus did, as He had taught His disciples, then we sin and darkness is in us. If we say we have not sinned, then we are liars and the truth is not in us. For the truth and the light is in those who do what Jesus did.

Therefore, brethren, serve God, and glorify Him in all your works. Feed the hungry, give to those who are lacking, look after the widows and provide for the orphans of the church. As Jesus walked in the light, let us walk in the light also.

Glory to God in the Highest

Great is God in the highest, for he made all things and sustains all things through His Son Jesus. His glory is as an unquenchable fire that will devour all evil in its wake. There is no one like God for He is good, pure and just.

“The glory of the LORD dwelt on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days. And on the seventh day he called to Moses out of the midst of the cloud. Now the appearance of the glory of the LORD was like a devouring fire on the top of the mountain.”

(Exodus 24:16-17)

God is merciful and kind and extends His Grace on those whom He has called. His ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts. Save for His compassion for us, we have the Helper to guide us to do His will and love as He loves.

God was the One who set the earth on its axis. He is the One who brings rain to a parched land and sun to a dark place. He sees the suffering of His people, and He will bring us relief. There is no one like God, for He will rescue us from our grief.

Trust in God Almighty, the Creator of heaven and earth. Give praise to Him who saved us. He is our Lord, our Father and our God. No one else can intercede on our behalf, except for He who gave us life. Give glory to God in the highest.

God Will Deliver Us

God has promised us that through Christ we have salvation. All the sufferings of this world are but a moment apart from God’s great deliverance. Lift your eyes to Him, offering him sweet sacrifices of prayer and see if He will not remove us from our tribulation.

“Then the LORD said, ‘I have surely seen the affliction of my people who are in Egypt and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters. I know their sufferings, and I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land to a good and broad land, a land flowing with milk and honey.’”

(Exodus 3:7-8)

Our hope is in God, for by His promises He will provide an escape from our trials. But we have to have faith. We have to rely on Him and no one else to save us. His mercy is great and His grace is sure. He will not allow us to suffer more than we can bear.

Believe His Word. Give praise continually to His name. For there is nothing God cannot do. Through Him, and Him alone, all things are possible. If God can deliver a nation from the hands of an adversary, imagine what more he can do with us.

Is it so difficult for God to intervene in our lives such that He could not deliver us from evil? We have Him on our side. No one can stand before the Great God. He is the beginning and the end. No enemy is so great that God could not vanquish. God will deliver us.

Pray Without Ceasing

God so loved us such that He gave His only Son Jesus so that we might be saved. Knowing this, how should we pray? He will answer if we ask and our prayers do make a difference. We should ask God with fervency what His will is for our lives.

“Then Jacob asked him, ‘Please tell me your name.’ But he said, ‘Why is it that you ask my name?’ And there he blessed him. So Jacob called the name of the place Peniel, saying, ‘For I have seen God face to face, and yet my life has been delivered.’”

(Genesis 32:29-30)

We do not need to see God face to face to know what His will is. By obeying His Word, we will know God and we will know what He desires for us. His will is for us to love Him more than anything in this world and to love others as much as we love ourselves.

Pray always with a fervent heart, asking God for wisdom and strength. He will encourage the weak and provide an escape to those seeking Him with all their might. He will reveal Himself through miracles and wonders. His compassion will not abate from those who believe.

Glory to God in the highest, for He is good. Declare His name on high. Give honor to Him who gives life. Bless His holy countenance. Worship Him always. Pour your heart to Him who listens, for He is our God. Pray without ceasing.

Believe and Live

God promised Abraham a promise only God could promise. Abraham was to receive millions of descendants from a son, who had yet to know life; born, no less, from a barren woman, whom God would open the womb.

“And Abram said, ‘Behold, you have given me no offspring, and a member of my household will be my heir.’ And behold, the word of the LORD came to him: ‘This man shall not be your heir; your very own son shall be your heir.’ And he brought him outside and said, ‘Look toward heaven, and number the stars, if you are able to number them.’ Then he said to him, ‘So shall your offspring be.’ And he believed the LORD, and he counted it to him as righteousness.”

(Genesis 15:3-6)

If God could open the womb of a barren woman how much more would He do for us if we believed in all He had promised? He would count our faith as righteousness and we would have salvation through His Son Jesus, who sacrificed His life for us.

If we believe Jesus is God’s Son, we have life. The Apostle Paul made it clear that God’s grace has no bounds. There is no requirement for salvation other than faith. Our works work toward our reward. Blessed are those who keep God’s commandments, for they will have life.

How should we live then? Love God and love others as we would love ourselves. Be patient and kind toward one another, loving one another, as God so loves us. For through love we have knowledge of God. Believe and live.

God’s Love Endures Forever

As many stars are in the sky, God’s love endures forever. As the ocean is large, God’s love endures forever. As many times as we repent, God’s love endures forever. For the stars may fail, the oceans may drain, and we may stumble, God’s love endures forever.

“For the mountains may depart
and the hills be removed,
but my steadfast love shall not depart from you,
and my covenant of peace shall not be removed,”
says the Lord, who has compassion on you.

(Isaiah 54:10)

As sure as the sun rises and the sun sets, God’s love endures forever. The winds in a storm may increase, the earth may shatter beneath our feet, and walls may collapse all around us, but God’s love endures forever. We may lose our ability to reason, yet God’s love endures forever.

God loves freely, unconditionally and without bounds. His nature affords life to all. Darkness does not exist in Him, for He is light. He bore light at the beginning of the world, and with it, He continues to impart His children with truth. The devil may tempt us, but God’s love endures forever.

No trial shall triumph over us, no suffering shall overtake us, and no tribulation shall remove us from our Lord, for God’s love endures forever.

His Word is steadfast, immovable and boundless. God’s love endures forever.
