The Lord Is Our Salvation

How wonderful a truth is it to know the Lord will never leave us nor forsake us. He so loved us that He gave His only Son Jesus so that we might have salvation. How great is God to have given us hope in a time of distress.

I love you, O LORD, my strength.
The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer,
my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge,
my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
I call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised,
and I am saved from my enemies.

(Psalms 18:1-3)

Bless the Lord, O my soul, for He is good. His mercy is on us always. He delivers us from evil, blesses us when all seems lost and gives us of His abundance so that we are without want. His grace upon our lives will remain forever.

God’s deliverance for us will never fail. He pours into us His Spirit, lifts us from our knees and restores our soul. His promises are sure, His joy will live in us always, and His love for us will never end. O great are you, Lord!

Therefore, let not this world’s trials discourage you. For we are God’s and no one can take away the salvation promised to us and held in Heaven for us. Until the last day, stand firm in the face of adversity. For the Lord is our salvation.
