The Lord’s Love Endures Forever

Though the waves of the ocean beat upon my brow, pressing me to stumble, the Lord’s love endures forever. Though the darkness surrounds me, wanting to swallow me whole, the Lord’s love endures forever. Though my heart plunges in sadness for my loss, the Lord’s love endures forever.

Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good,
for his steadfast love endures forever.
Give thanks to the God of gods,
for his steadfast love endures forever.
Give thanks to the Lord of lords,
for his steadfast love endures forever;

(Psalms 136:1-3)

Though the mountains crumble around me, burying me in its dirt, the Lord’s love endures forever. Though the winds hurl me about, tossing me to the ground, the Lord’s love endures forever. Though my legs give way to my weakness, I will not surrender, for the Lord’s love endures forever.

The Lord’s love is perfect. The Lord’s love is kind. It never departs when beaten, never flees when surrounded and never withdraws when sorrow wraps me in its cold grip.

The Lord’s love never fails. The mountains will not bury me, the winds will not pitch me, my legs will stand firm, for the Lord’s love endures forever.

    1. Very nice, Jack. Always right on time for me. It’s as if…
      Well, these days, who doesn’t need a message like this? We’re really all stumbling in darkness and trying to get our footing, yes? Look around us. I guess if there were ever a time when we need to be faithful and have more faith…
      Anyway, thank you. I believe that I will, just for today, be faithful as I am able. Tomorrow I don’t know. That’s too far away, isn’t it? God bless you, Jack.
      God bless you.

  1. Amen & Amen

    Though the enemy’s lies try to destroy, God’s steadfast love & faithfulness endures forever.

    Thank you Jesus🙏
