If God did not spare His only Son Jesus Christ, who bore our sins on the cross on our account, what more would He do for us, since He considers us heirs to all things? He would do anything for us; His dominion is everlasting, and we will one day reign with him forever.
“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things? Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies.”
(Romans 8:31-33)
No manner of fear should shake us from our faith in God, for He is the bulwark against which our enemies will fight. No one can resist Him. He is kind to the kind, and He is merciful to the merciful. He will pour His wrath upon the unjust.
Whatever plans that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world, has for us, will come to naught. He has no power over us, for we no longer walk following the course of this world. His time will soon be at an end.
Bless the Lord our God, for He is good. Bless Him and His holy name. His mercies will never fail. He is the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end. He will repay. If God is for us, who can be against us?
Amen and many blessings
Blessings, Steve!
God bless you. Thank you
Blessings to you, also.
Surely a consolation as it seems so much evil is prevailing. Amen. 🙂
God will truly reward His elect and bring His wrath upon sinners. God bless always, Ellie!
God truly is our safe haven from all our enemies and if He is for us our enemies fall away.
He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. (Psalm 91:4-7).
His promises to us will never fail, Julia! God bless
