Your Sins Shall Be as White as Snow

O how great God is to have given us hope through Jesus Christ our savior. Whatever sin we may have committed, He has promised to forgive. Whatever evil we may have done, He will cover with Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross.

“Come now, let us reason together, says the LORD:
though your sins are like scarlet,
they shall be as white as snow;
though they are red like crimson,
they shall become like wool.”

(Isaiah 1:18)

We have no reason to fear God’s wrath. If we accept Jesus as our savior, He will pardon our iniquities. We shall be as a new birth to the One who has given us life. We have no reason to fear because our salvation is now. When we take our last breath, we shall not fall into judgment.

God has promised to be with us always. He shall never leave us nor forsake us. We shall dwell with Him always. That ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, cannot take away that which is already ours.

Seek God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your mind, and it shall be well with you. No evil so great shall befall you from which God cannot rescue you. His promise is sure. His promise is eternal. Your sins shall be as white as snow.

The Word of God Is Living and Active

God’s Word is as a rock, solid and unshaken; it does not change. From shore to shore, its wisdom is as vast as the ocean, providing guidance when we need it most. It reveals God’s plan and what we will inherit once we return to the Father.

“For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.”

(Hebrews 4:12)

God’s Word promises salvation to those who believe Jesus is the Son of God. He guarantees that we will one day dwell with Him forever. No greater a promise is that of having eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

God’s Word gives us comfort in times of trial and tribulation. We have hope, reading that He would never leave us nor forsake us. We have His glorious truth on which to meditate day and night. Wonderful is His Word; perfect is His plan for us.

God’s Word is life; great is our joy and pleasure abounding. His Word is sure, true and faithful; it will never fail. His Word is as a light, showing us the way through the darkness. The Word of God is living and active.

Store God’s Word in Your Heart

God’s Word is as a sword, piercing our hearts, blessing us with wisdom, and protecting us from sin, which wants to corrupt us and enslave us to another master. Be strong and follow the promptings of the Holy Spirit so that God’s love fills us daily.

“I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.”

(Psalms 119:11)

Reading God’s Word gives us hope, gives us vision and provides safety when safety seems afar. As a light that penetrates the darkness so is His Word, which penetrates the very marrow of sin that wants to reign over us.

Through God’s Word, we have the promise of salvation through Jesus Christ our Lord. He sacrificed His life so that we might live. No longer does sin imprison us in the depths of despair, as one would fall into despair. Our hope is in Jesus, who lives in us.

Read God’s word for wisdom. Read it for instruction as to how God’s mind works. Read it for comfort. Read it for the pleasure and joy we gain from it, when its power encourages us with strength to overcome the trials we endure. Store God’s Word in your heart.

Merciful and Gracious Is Our God

O how merciful and gracious is our God. He has blessed us with the knowledge of His truth through Christ Jesus our Lord, who lives in us, revealing in us God’s glory. Blessed are we, whom God has called His children.

“But you, O Lord, are a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness.”

(Psalms 86:15)

Blessed are we to have God as our loving Father. He is always there waiting for us to lay bare our iniquities at the foot of the cross. His bosom is our resting place. He is our comfort and strength. Great is His mercy, for He is great.

All joy comes from our Lord. He shows us the way to everlasting peace, and He blesses those who look to Him for guidance. Whatever we lack, He provides. He knows what we need before we need it. His grace toward us is bountiful.

Bless the Lord Almighty, king of heaven and earth, for He will never fail us, nor will He abandon us. He considers us heirs and coheirs to all He possesses. O how generous is He to have given so much to us. Merciful and gracious is our God.

A Harvest of Righteousness Is Sown in Peace

Should the people desire peace, let they themselves be peaceful. Should the people want quiet, let they themselves be quiet. There is no anger in peace. There is no anxiety in quietness. God comforts the spirit of the saints with His love.

“And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.”

(James 3:18)

Do not be deceived, brethren. Many speak in Jesus’ name, but are not from Jesus. Many will sow seeds of division to satisfy their own lustful desires. Give the unrighteous their own place to bury their dead. We, however, will follow Jesus. For His love lasts forever.

Show mercy to the just and the unjust. Be at peace with all and never quarrel with the demons. Jesus has won that battle. His angels surround the saints, and no one can stop the army of God. Love Jesus always.

Be slow to anger and thoughtful in speech. Restrain your tongue, for it is as a sword, which cuts both ways through the skin and through the marrow. Be vigilant to sow peace in all your dealings, for a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace.

Search Me, O God, and Know My Heart

God knows everything. He sees all things before they happen. He knows us and what we will do. His knowledge is without limit, His power is without restraint and His mercy is without boundaries. He searches our hearts and sees us for who we are; and He still loves us.

“O LORD, you have searched me and known me!
You know when I sit down and when I rise up;
you discern my thoughts from afar.
You search out my path and my lying down
and are acquainted with all my ways.
Even before a word is on my tongue,
behold, O LORD, you know it altogether.
You hem me in, behind and before,
and lay your hand upon me.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me;
it is high; I cannot attain it.”

(Psalms 139:1-6)

God will protect us from harm, standing before and behind us, bearing the weight of whatever may want to pierce our souls. His light on our path is forever sure. No other god can know us, for no other god has created us other than God, who is God.

O how wonderful God is to have loved me so much that He would give His Son Jesus to rescue me from the penalty of my sins. His love is from everlasting to everlasting. His grace upon my life is sure and true. No other god is greater than our God.

Lord God, You know me when I rise, You know me when I rest. You know me when I am at my weakest and at my strength. You have power over my breath, and You have vision into my days. Search me, O God, and know my heart.

I Will Take You to Be My People

Throughout our lives, we have groped for the light. We have searched for meaning and purpose in other things; but the only thing that has satisfied is doing God’s will. Nothing has come close to seeing God’s will working in our lives.

“I will take you to be my people, and I will be your God, and you shall know that I am the LORD your God, who has brought you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.”

(Exodus 6:7)

By God’s will, we have life. By His mercy, we have hope of a resurrection to everlasting life. Through Jesus, we have that life. God took us out of the darkness and made us His. We are His elect. No one can take away what God has given us.

God will seize and bind the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan. He no longer has dominion in our lives, for through God’s sacrifice, we are His; He lives in us. Whatever may ail us, God will heal by His Spirit.

Be kind to one another. Give freely to the poor and to the sick. Show mercy to those who need mercy. Be thoughtful and generous to all. God will provide. We ought not to worry, for as God promised, “I will take you to be my people.”
