There is no darkness in Jesus our Lord. There is no fear. For He upholds the righteous; He gives honor to the humble and He loves those who seek His ways. How blessed is the one who looks to Him for guidance and strength.
“For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
(Romans 6:23)
Our Lord Jesus Christ gives us rest. Whatever ails us, He comforts us. Whatever threatens us, He protects us from it. He is our shield. He is our sail. We do not worry when He is by our side. We do not fear. He is a fortress to our lives and a bulwark to our hearts. There is no one like Him, our God.
We rejoice knowing Jesus gave His life for us. He suffered in our stead. He bore our sins and died for us on a cross meant for us. He is our savior, our king and we will always remember what He did for us. We can never forget how He loved us.
He gives us peace in a time of turmoil. He provides us strength in a moment of weakness. He is kind, He is gentle and He is loving toward us.
Christ Jesus is our Lord.
