Christ Forgave You

Great is our God, for He has opened the doors to His throne room, providing us salvation from judgment. Great is He, again, to have given His Son Jesus for the forgiveness of our sins so that we would have eternal life.

“Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.”

(Ephesians 4:31-32)

If we drop to our knees before God, acknowledge our sins to Him and truly repent of what we have done, which is not doing His will in our lives, then all that we have confessed, He will absolve; He will have no memory of our transgressions, but will have forgiven us fully.

God has not hidden Himself from us. He has blessed us with His kindness and His strength. We have no reason to fear any longer. His mercy is on us, and He has freely given His grace. We will not need to worry when we go before Him on the day of judgment.

Blessed is our God. Wonderful is He. Worship Him from the top of mountains. Worship Him from the depths of the sea. Worship Him from all over the world. Worship him always. He is our good, good God. He is our King. Blessed be the Father always, for Christ forgave you.

  1. “All that we have confessed.” I think people may struggle with this one, articulating all their failings…but it’s not like God doesn’t see and know all already. He’s eager to forgive. Such a great reminder Jack, thanks 😎🙏

    1. God knows all things. He is our comforter and strength. When we repent, He readily forgives without restraint. His love for us will never fail. May His peace be with you, Darryl!

  2. This post hit me deeper than my words can fully explain. As someone walking through a long season of heartbreak, trauma, and healing, the reminder of God’s mercy, grace, and forgiveness brings me to a place of preace.. . It’s easy to feel lost in the weight of our own brokenness — and yet, what a powerful truth it is that He sees it all, forgives it all, and loves us still.

I’ve been learning to lay my pain at His feet, even when I don’t have the strength to speak it. Your words reminded me that we don’t have to be perfect to be welcomed into His presence — we just have to be willing to come. Thank you for this powerful and needed encouragement. It stirred something holy in the middle of my storm.

    1. God will always be there for us, whenever we need Him. He is our shield, strength, and our comforter. The peace He provides through Jesus calms us in the stormy trials. May God be with you and bless you always.

  3. Jack Flacco,

I am not always saintly in my behavior. I had been thinking about this very scripture about being kind, tender-hearted, and forgiving. Sometimes my thoughts and my tongue get a little unruly. Thank you for your timely message, as always. God bless you!
