God’s Grace Is Upon Us

God is faithful in all things. His mercy falls on all who believe. He will not ask us to bear suffering beyond our means. He will not allow misery to fill our hearts. His grace through the shed blood of Christ will save us.

“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God.”

(Ephesians 2:8)

By God’s mercy and grace, we have salvation. By His Spirit, we have everlasting love. He heals us because it pleases Him, and it is His will. No illness is stronger that He cannot overcome. God heals all who believe.

Look to God for help. Call to Him, for He is good, righteous and just. He will not allow us to fall. He will lift us from our trials, comfort us with His Word, and deliver us from all adversities. His way leads to life, and He will always keep us safe in the midst of turmoil.

Oh, how wonderful it is to raise our hands in praise to God our Father, who has given us eternal life through Jesus our Lord. His deeds are awesome and His ways are just, for God’s grace is upon us.

  1. Wait. I thought He wants us to go to Him and lean on Him, so when you say, “He will not ask us to bear suffering beyond our means.” Do you mean He is part of our “means?”

    1. God will always provide a means to escape a trial. Our physical bodies have limitations, which only He can surpass. He wants us to call on Him for His rescue. He is our all. God bless you, Terre.

      1. So he will/may ask us to bear suffering beyond our means. So then we will call upon him. I always think that people confuse 1 Corinthians 10:13 (will not TEMPT us beyond our means) with him not allowing us to suffer beyond what we can bear. Just like people always say “money is the root of all evil” when in fact (and we see it ALL around us) THE LOVE OF MONEY is the root of all evil. (shrug, that is how I see it.). Cheers! Happy New Year!

  2. Good Morning Jack,I apologize for my comments being duplicated…not sure why though. I’ll see  if I can figure out the problem. For now, maybe you could delete one of them. God’s Blessings always, Vicki Jeremiah 29:11– For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end~
