Perfect Love Casts Out Fear

If God did not spare His only Son Jesus Christ, who bore our sins on the cross on our account, what more would He do for us, since He considers us heirs to all things? He would do anything for us; His dominion is everlasting, and we will one day reign with him forever.

“There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love. We love because he first loved us.”

(1 John 4:18-19)

No manner of fear should shake us from our faith in God, for He is the bulwark against which our enemies will fight. No one can resist Him. He is kind to the kind, and He is merciful to the merciful. He will pour His wrath upon the unjust.

Whatever plans that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world, has for us, will come to naught. He has no power over us, for we no longer walk following the course of this world. His time will soon be at an end.

Bless the Lord our God, for He is good. Bless Him and His holy name. His mercies will never fail. He is the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end. He will repay. Perfect love casts out fear.

  1. Thank you, Jack Flacco. Uplifting!

As 2 Timothy 1:7 of the KJV states: “God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”

We did have security cameras installed due to harassment from neighbors. Sometimes we must fight back against persecutors who harass and aggravate and intimidate.

Blessings to you, in Jesus’ name.

      1. Thank you, and you also. I am getting there (having more peace). I’ve got to let go of the world to do it, though. “Be not conformed to this world”, as the Romans 12:2 of the Bible says, “but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind…”.

      1. Thanks,Jack. I go to meet my maker soon. I leave behind a life of pain and worry. I hope God’s mercy will go with me. I’m not sure though. I wish I could be. Thanks for being a ray of light in my times of darkness. You’re a good man and a blessing from God.
