If we open our hearts to God in true repentance, asking for forgiveness of our sins, doing what is right in His eyes and trusting Him with everything we have, He will not forsake us. He will be our God forever, and He will give us everlasting life through Jesus Christ our savior.
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.”
(Proverbs 3:5)
This life is a vapor. In the blink of an eye, all of this will fade away. God has promised us, though, that He will remember us. He will raise us from the grave, give us the crown of glory that which we desire, and we will reign with Him forever.
Even more so, we are to judge the angels. If we are to inherit such power, what manner of people ought we to be? Be kind toward one another. Give hope to brothers and sisters who bear sorrow in their heart. Show mercy always as the Lord has shown mercy to us.
When someone asks us of our hope, proclaim the good news of Christ’s life, death and resurrection and the coming kingdom, which will one day rain down from heaven as water pours from a cloud. Give hope to others and trust in the Lord forever.
Amen! Trust in the Lord. 🙌
There is no other way! This is my verse! Thank you for sharing your God-given wisdom!
We have to. 🙂
By His Spirit we can do all things!
May the Lord grant you peace always Jack!
Blessings,
Vicki
May His peace be with you also, Vicki!
Thanks for this post, sadly far too many do not have complete trust in our lord God but there is nothing I can do to change that.
May God grant you wisdom and guidance, Joanne!
Amen. ❤️
I always appreciate your posts! Concise and beautiful in awe and appreciation for our place as children of an awesome God.
God bless you, Abe!
And I love Proverbs 3:6 right after this one…both of them acknowledging that we don’t always understand the big picture, but we know someone who does!
May God’s grace and blessings be with you, Bruce!
And with you as well, Jack!
There’s nothing like seeing someone’s sad and forlorn expression light up when they’re on the receiving end of a kind act and they see God has not forgotten them. 🙂
Helping those in need is a blessing to us as much as it is to those in need. Blessing always, Nancy!
Amen. Well said!
And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment;
Philippians 1:9
Amen, and blessings for the Word.
May Jesus’ love and peace be with you always.
