The night before Jesus’ death and burial, He took His disciples to Gethsemane to pray. Leaving them behind, He went alone to be with the Father. During His most sorrowful moment, Jesus sought God’s will.
“’Now is my soul troubled. And what shall I say? “Father, save me from this hour”? But for this purpose I have come to this hour. Father, glorify your name.’ Then a voice came from heaven: ‘I have glorified it, and I will glorify it again.’”
(John 12:27-28)
During our most sorrowful moment, who do we seek? Jesus made it clear that all power and all glory belong to the Father. No matter what we suffer, it is all for God’s glory. His will ought to be what we seek.
Dark days will come upon us, dreadful trials will draw near, yet, we have God as our redeemer. He will give us the strength to move forward in all tribulation. We ought not to be anxious, for our Lord and Savior will give us rest.
How great God is to look upon our lives and find us befitting of the trial we suffer. For through that trial we give God all the glory and honor befitting Him. Through no other means, other than by God’s will, do we have peace.
May His will be done.
His name is glorified!
Great is our God! God bless.
TAKE CARE!

“Befitting of trial” is a perspective-changing attitude! But it’s exactly what the apostles rejoiced in, setting the standard for us. “The apostles left the Sanhedrin, rejoicing because they had been counted worthy of suffering disgrace for the Name” (Acts 5:41). I pray I may be counted worthy also, should severe suffering come my way. Thank you, Jack!
God truly is wonder for having thought of us as worthy. May his blessing be upon you, Nancy. Grace and peace in Jesus’ name.
Thank you, Jack!
The Lord of hosts is his name-he is our strength when we are weak.
God will reign supreme always for all time. Blessings!

SHELTER YOURSELF IN CHRIST!
It’s our only chance!
O what a blessing it is to know God as He wants us to know Him. Blessings!
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.
1 Timothy 2:5,6
Thank you and blessings, Jack!
