The Lord Is Our Salvation

When all hope is lost is when the Lord will provide the most. He will lift us from calamity. He will lead us away from strife. He will cover us with His power so that we do not need to be anxious in the day of persecution. He will protect us.

Blessed be the Lord,
who daily bears us up;
God is our salvation. Selah
Our God is a God of salvation,
and to GOD, the Lord, belong deliverances from death.

(Psalms 68:19-20)

No evil in the world can overcome the Lord. He is good and faithful to His word. He will not let the guilty go unpunished. His judgments are sure, right and just. No one is like the Lord, for His mercies will never fail. His blessings for our lives are provisions for our souls.

Let us not be anxious for all the things that may ail us. We have the Lord’s steadfast love to comfort us. We have His faithfulness as an assurance toward the promises to come. No one can come between the Lord our God and us.

In all things, therefore, let us give thanks to the Lord our God; He is good. He will give of what He has and will raise us back to our feet. No matter how painful a trial we face, He will not allow us to stumble.

The Lord is our salvation.

  1. Since a child, Psalm 23 has comforted & sustained me.

    The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures: he leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul: he leads me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou prepares a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anoints my head with oil; my cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever. Thank You Jesus~

    Amen & Amen
    Blessings,

    1. Vicki, every night as I fall asleep, I pray Psalm 23. If I’m exhausted, I will not reach “Thou prepares a table before me…” I find it the most comforting scripture in the Bible. God bless you.

      1. That’s awesome! I recite it too at night and also fall asleep sometimes befor finishing. I imagine the Lord smiling that he is the first on our minds in the morning and the last at night as we fall asleep.

        When I was a kid I memorized Psalm 23 which was no small feat for me. In the atmosphere I grew up in it was hard to concentrate on anything even school work. As I look back its a miracle I was able to remember a sentence of it, let alone from beginning to end, a miracle that got me through each day, week, month, year to this day. I believe all on purpose…All the glory to our mighty God. Amen🙏

        Many Blessings to You Jack,
        Vicki

  2. We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
    Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
    2 Corinthians 4:8,9
