There is no darkness in you, O Lord. There is no fear. For you uphold the righteous; you give honor to the humble and you love those who seek your ways. How blessed is the one who looks to you for guidance and strength.
For a day in your courts is better
than a thousand elsewhere.
I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God
than dwell in the tents of wickedness.
For the Lord God is a sun and shield;
the Lord bestows favor and honor.
No good thing does he withhold
from those who walk uprightly.
O Lord of hosts,
blessed is the one who trusts in you!(Psalms 84:10-12)
Lord God, you give me rest. Whatever ails me, you comfort me. Whatever threatens me, you protect me. You are my sail. You are my shield. I do not worry when you are by my side. I do not fear. You are a fortress to my life and a bulwark to my heart. There is no one like you, O God.
I rejoice knowing Jesus gave His life for me. He suffered in my stead. He bore my sins and died for me on a cross meant for me. He is my savior, my king and I will always remember what He did for me. I can never forget how He loved me.
You give me peace in a time of turmoil. You provide me strength in a moment of weakness. You are kind, you are gentle and you are loving toward me.
I rest in you, O Lord!
“A day in your courts is better than a thousand else where” the fullness of that one day must be unimaginably lovely! Thank you for sharing! Shalom!

“you give honor to the humble and you love those who seek your ways”
My Dear Friend Jack,
I am compelled by this beautiful POST to pose a question for you:
Does, can or even “may” God have more than only one “way” (set of faith beliefs?) It is Jack, an honest question. It’s a question I personally have often pondered.
Thank you, and God Bless,
Please stay safe,
Patrick
Hello Patrick, I am moved and overwhelmed with delight to see you have a sincere heart for seeking God. May all joy and blessings fall on you and your family during this time of trial.
The Lord is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8). His ways are not our ways (Isaiah 55:8), for His thoughts are higher than ours (v. 9). Therefore, whatever we may believe, He has either softened our hearts and inspired us (Ezekiel 11:19-20), or we have taken it upon ourselves to interpret His ways without looking to Him for the correct interpretation. God does not want us divided (Matthew 16:18), and he most certainly does not want us to follow an individual (1 Corinthians 1:12-13). He does, however, want us to love Him with all our heart, with all our soul and with all our mind, and to love our neighbor as ourself (Matthew 22:37-40), for in Christ alone, and by no other name, we are saved (Acts 4:11-12). When we do that, we will forgive those who wrong us, bless those who harm us and give to those who are in need, regardless of what we may believe, for we are of one heart and one mind in Jesus (Acts 4:32).
I hope this helps with what you were asking.
God bless you once again,
Jack
Amen & Amen to this beautiful tribute to our Lord & Saviour!

Great reminder who we should rest in, not the government, or people but Him.
Yes, for through Him we are comforted.
