God Will Rescue Us

Through our many trials and tribulations, God is there, and He will rescue us. He will not abandon His people. He will cover us with His hand and lead us to safety. His protection will be on those who love Him.

Because you have made the Lord your dwelling place—
the Most High, who is my refuge—
no evil shall be allowed to befall you,
no plague come near your tent.
For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways.

(Psalms 91:9-11)

As these days turn dark and our vision diminishes, let us remember the Lord, for He is good. He will not let us suffer more than we can bear. This life is but a vapor and our true reward is in the salvation the Lord promised through His son Christ Jesus.

Let us be glad and cheerful knowing God has a place prepared for us. Our comfort is in His Word. His Word is a light unto our feet, a provision for our mind and a treasure for our heart. He clothes us in security and provides us with what we need. He will give us the strength to overcome our fears.

We will count on the Lord’s wisdom as a standard against plague. His mercy will not fail us. His power will penetrate the very marrow of our being, providing us the encouragement we so truly seek.

In all things, fear not, for God will rescue us.

  1. So true, in the beginning God did not intend for us to have to live this way. His original purpose will be fullfilled and the promise he made at Revelation 21:4 will soon come true, where it says, ” And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry, nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. ” We know this will come true very soon because of the time frame we are living in foretold at 2 Timothy 3:1-5.

  2. It is about remembering this great truth of which you have revealed to us yet again.

It is easy to forget that Christ is always there with us, even in the darkest of places.

  3. Well written Jack….God truly is wonderful and will help us navigate our boats in difficult times like these. God will bless everyone.

  4. Wonderful message, though I do not agree with it in totality. As per the law of Karma, every person would suffer, as much as he is bound to suffer. God doesn’t interfere with Karma. Some people might say, that God wants people to know that he exists etc. Do you really feel that God wants recognition, by some tiny dot on the planet Earth?

    1. God bless you. If anything, God will never leave nor forsake us. His purpose will always supersede anything we might think. What a blessing it is to know that all things work together for good. Blessings.

  5. Awesome, the scripture says though we walk through the valley of the shadow of death we will fear no evil for the Lord is with us He is our shield, our guide and buckler.
Even in the days where thousands are falling at our right and ten thousand on our left we will continually hold on to Him who is the rock of our salvation

    1. God will truly be our bulwark during this time when all the world is looking for relief. May God give you hope, blessing you in all things great and small, Tina!

  6. No matter what is happening, He is our refuge.

Psalm 57:1 (NIV) Have mercy on me, my God, have mercy on me, for in you I take refuge. I will take refuge in the shadow of your wings until the disaster has passed.

    1. Under His wings we are safe, Deborah. No one else can save us other than God our Father through Jesus’ sacrifice. God bless and may you be safe in the coming days.

  7. Thank you Jack,

There is no doubt that GOD IS in charge, and this is a time of trial of our Faith. Will we sustain or beliefs, or allow fear to rule.
Me and my family WILL not waver in our love and belief that God’s Will be done here on earth as it is in heaven. And whatever that portends. I DO believe! Amen

    Special Blessings,
    Patrick

    1. Patrick, now is the time to give to God what is God’s and to give to those in need what is theirs. Blessings to you and your family while the world exhales, readying itself for Christ’s coming. All glory to God and His purpose!
