King Solomon, the wisest king who had ever lived, once wrote that there is a season for everything: a time to grow, a time to harvest; a time to build, a time to tear down; a time to mourn and a time to dance. With every time that passes, we have a chance to learn more about what God’s will is for our lives.
“For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.” (Ecclesiastes 3:1)
As we grow as sons and daughters of our Father, we have the opportunity to become more like Him every day. We gain a sense of who God is by doing His will. By listening to His still, small voice, we learn His heart, which then becomes our heart. We will have compassion for those who sin against us, forgiveness for those who wrong us, and mercy for those who hate us.
Our lives will have meaning by the changing of the seasons. For as time moves forward, we will forever learn just how much God loves us by remembering that He gave His only son as a sacrifice so that we might live. Moreover, God’s powerful testimony for us is Jesus’ willingness to lose His life in order that we might gain ours.
How wonderful God is to look after us in due season. His mercy is awesome and His love for us will never fail. Let us count it all joy to know there is a time for everything.
that was so beautiful! Hallelujah!! it is so imp to discern the times and seasons. thanks Jack. really helped.
I’m glad God was able to speak to you through this. Blessings, always!
Blessings to you too, Jack!
We are so learning to enjoy these seasons knowing they are from Him.
With the new season upon us, there is even more of an opportunity to understand what God is looking to do in our lives. It is just a matter of listening to His voice. Once we recognize it, our world is all the more filled with knowledge of His truths.
Amen Jack. We’re learning how to listen and wait and its incredible seeing His works.

God’s love will never fail us, Homer. God bless you.
1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:
3 If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.
4 For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.
5 Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.
6 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:
7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.
10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
2 Corinthians 5:1-10
Amen!
Thank you, Carlos.
Thankful, Jack!
Jack~ Listening to God’s still small voice is key; yet, it requires us to listen intentionally. When we are in bliss, sometimes we are so busy dancing and celebrating that we are not tuned in. And then of course when life is falling apart we can be so caught up in misery and even self pity that we are definitely trusting God let alone tuning in and willing to hear from God.
What a beautiful reality that God is always with us. We need to cling to this in all seasons.
God’s spirit is truly amazing, as He will give to us what we need, and He will provide us with the strength we will need to move forward toward what we need to do. Trusting God is the key, Kate, which you have mentioned. What a wonderful time it is to be a Christian. We have God’s full Word at our fingertips and we can ask Him anything we want at this very moment, which is awesome in and of itself.
