Be Encouraged

Be strong and courageous, for when we are weak, God will lift us up and help us overcome our trials and tribulation. We will have others who will try to take away that which we possess, but do not fear, for they cannot take away that which God has given to us.

“For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to strengthen you—that is, that we may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith, both yours and mine.”

(Romans 1:11-12)

Our reward is safely stored in heaven, where on the day of judgment God will freely give us of his abundant grace and mercy. No one can come between us and our God, who sits on His throne. Through Jesus, our brother and savior, we have salvation.

Blessed is our Lord God, for he protects us from the evil that would want to take away our love for Him. Blessed is He who gives life to all and blesses the elect, whom He has called for His purpose, to reign with Him forever and ever.

Should others hate us because we love Jesus, take heart, for they hated Him also. No one can take away our reward for following Him, whom God has appointed as our savior and king. Therefore, be encouraged.

Seek Peace

Blessed are those who calm the angry, for God will look upon them in favor and call them His children. As children of God, we then will inherit all things, visible and invisible, created by Him and sustained by Him through His Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

“Turn away from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.”

(Psalms 34:14)

Always look to quiet the enraged, for they do not know what they do. Their anger is as a fire that consumes everything and everyone around them. Have mercy on them as God has mercy on us, for in their anger they will also burn themselves in the fire.

Better is a day of peace in mourning than a thousand days of celebration in murmuring. God reveals Himself in a whisper than in a storm. Seek peace always, never letting others carry us away into the flames of hell, for God will reward our faithfulness.

Pray always for strength and encouragement to overcome anger with peace. Give ear to God and His voice. He will guide those who seek Him. He will provide for those who love Him. Seek peace.

Be Rich in Mercy

Be kind to all, for we do not know what their trials are. They may be suffering greatly and their only hope is through us, through whom the light of Jesus shines. Bless them and give them hope. They do not know what their end is as we do.

“But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved.”

(Ephesians 2:4-5)

Show mercy to the ungrateful, for as Jesus showed mercy to those who killed him, so ought we to show mercy on them. We know our salvation is sure. We do not have to worry that we will fall under judgment, for our judgment is now and our hope is in Jesus who died for us.

Every knee will one day bow to the Lord. Take heed, remain faithful and true to our God, who will show mercy on us when we come before His throne of judgment. Have mercy on those who do not believe, for their fate is to also to go before the Lord of Hosts.

Have mercy on the arrogant, for their end is in God’s hands. Show grace to the proud, for they know not what they do. Bless all, show kindness to the unkind and give to those who ask. Never lose hope, for our salvation is sure. Be rich in mercy.

Believe in the Lord Jesus

No matter how great a trial we have to bear, no matter how painful a tribulation we have to endure, no matter how difficult a persecution we have to overcome, only through Jesus is our salvation sure. He is and will be our Savior forever.

“And they said, ‘Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.’”

(Acts 16:31)

If we seek God with all our heart, He will reveal Himself through His Son Jesus. If we believe Jesus is His Son, we will have eternal life. We will not fall under judgment, nor will we have condemnation. Our dwelling will be with the Lord always.

O how wonderful a truth it is to know God has saved us from the penalty of our sins. His mercy for us will never fail and His grace shall endure without end. As far and wide and as deep and full is the ocean, so is God’s love for us in our salvation.

Bless the Lord our God for He is good. He purges us of our iniquities, gives us hope in times of sorrow and protects us in our dwellings. Whatever may have ensnared us in the past, God has rescued us in the present. Believe in the Lord Jesus.

He Forgave the Iniquity of Your Sin

O how great God is to have given us hope through Jesus Christ our savior. Whatever sin we may have committed, He has promised to forgive. Whatever evil we may have done, He will cover with Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross.

I acknowledged my sin to you,
and I did not cover my iniquity;
I said, ‘I will confess my transgressions to the LORD,’
and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah

(Psalms 32:5)

We have no reason to fear God’s wrath. If we accept Jesus as our savior, He will pardon our iniquities. We shall be as a new birth to the One who has given us life. We have no reason to fear because our salvation is now. When we take our last breath, we shall not fall into judgment.

God has promised to be with us always. He shall never leave us nor forsake us. We shall dwell with Him always. That ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, cannot take away that which is already ours.

Seek God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your mind, and it shall be well with you. No evil so great shall befall you from which God cannot rescue you. His promise is sure. His promise is eternal. He forgave the iniquity of your sin.

The Word of the LORD Proves True

God’s Word is as a rock, solid and unshaken; it does not change. From shore to shore, its wisdom is as vast as the ocean, providing guidance when we need it most. It reveals God’s plan and what we will inherit once we return to the Father.

For it is you who light my lamp;
the LORD my God lightens my darkness.
For by you I can run against a troop,
and by my God I can leap over a wall.
This God—his way is perfect;
the word of the LORD proves true;
he is a shield for all those who take refuge in him.

(Psalms 18:28-30)

God’s Word promises salvation to those who believe Jesus is the Son of God. He guarantees that we will one day dwell with Him forever. No greater a promise is that of having eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

God’s Word gives us comfort in times of trial and tribulation. We have hope, reading that He would never leave us nor forsake us. We have His glorious truth on which to meditate day and night. Wonderful is His Word; perfect is His plan for us.

God’s Word is life; great is our joy and pleasure abounding. His Word is sure, true and faithful; it will never fail. His Word is as a light, showing us the way through the darkness. The word of the LORD proves true.

Rejoice at His Word

God’s Word is as a sword, piercing our hearts, blessing us with wisdom, and protecting us from sin, which wants to corrupt us and enslave us to another master. Be strong and follow the promptings of the Holy Spirit so that God’s love fills us daily.

I rejoice at your word
like one who finds great spoil.
I hate and abhor falsehood,
but I love your law.
Seven times a day I praise you
for your righteous rules.

(Psalms 119:162-164)

Reading God’s Word gives us hope, gives us vision and provides safety when safety seems afar. As a light that penetrates the darkness so is His Word, which penetrates the very marrow of sin that wants to reign over us.

Through God’s Word, we have the promise of salvation through Jesus Christ our Lord. He sacrificed His life so that we might live. No longer does sin imprison us in the depths of despair, as one would fall into despair. Our hope is in Jesus, who lives in us.

Read God’s word for wisdom. Read it for instruction as to how God’s mind works. Read it for comfort. Read it for the pleasure and joy we gain from it, when its power encourages us with strength to overcome the trials we endure. Rejoice at His word.
