The Lord Is Our Salvation

However many times we find ourselves lost and alone, God is there listening, waiting for us to draw near. He is our steadfast fortress, our rock and our salvation. No trial is too hard, no tribulation is too difficult for us to overcome with the Lord’s help.

“Behold, God is my salvation;
I will trust, and will not be afraid;
for the LORD GOD is my strength and my song,
and he has become my salvation.”

(Isaiah 12:2)

We long for the Lord’s comfort. His ways are perfect, righteous and just. He will never abandon us. He will never leave us by the wayside. He has promised to be there for us in our time of need. He will never give up on us, for He is the great God.

Wonderful is our God, who sacrificed His son Jesus so that we may live; our sins are no more and our iniquities shall never separate us from our Father’s love. We can humbly come before His throne asking for forgiveness, and He will forgive us.

Happy are we knowing God has our reward stored in heaven, as we wait for the day when we will be together with Him forever. Great is He who has given us hope. Wonderful is He who has promised us eternal life. The Lord is our salvation.

Blessed Be the Name of the Lord

Blessed are we to have gone before the Lord and ask for forgiveness. Our iniquities are no longer a stumbling block to our salvation. We no longer need to be anxious for the day of judgment, for our reward is safe and secure in the hands of the Great God our Father.

“Then Job arose and tore his robe and shaved his head and fell on the ground and worshiped. And he said, ‘Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return. The LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.'”

(Job 1:20-21)

Through Jesus we can enter the great throne room and lay our troubles at the foot of the mercy seat, where God will provide us the strength we need to overcome. Our hope rests with the Lord, who gave His life so that our sins would be no more.

Rejoice in the blessing that lies within us; for by the Holy Spirit, which God gave us in our new birth, we have surety of one day dwelling with the Lord forever. Blessed be the name of the Lord, for He is good always.

By the many sorrows we had to endure, we now have gladness knowing our place will be with the Lord. No one can take away what God has given to us freely. By Christ’s holy and righteous name, we are to reign forever. Blessed be the name of the Lord.

Be Strong in the Lord

O how great our God is to have blessed us with access to His throne. O how wonderful He is to have opened His doors to His mercy seat. May the cherubim and seraphim praise His name on high, for by His high priest, Jesus Christ, we are saved.

“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.”

(Ephesians 6:10-13)

We ought not to be anxious for this present suffering we endure. Jesus suffered as we have, even more so, endured a greater suffering. Yet, by His stripes we are healed. By the strength with which He overcame temptation, we also will overcome our temptation.

When we are weak, we are strong. When we are unable, He will enable us. Only Jesus can give us power to rise from our struggles and pour our hearts into all that He wants for our lives. No other purpose is important other than serving Christ our Lord.

Brothers and sisters, be strong. We have the promise that Christ will one day come again. His mercy will never fail. Therefore, seek God wholeheartedly, holding fast the truth and always remembering to be strong in the Lord.

I Shall Again Praise Him

Wonderful is our God to have given us hope through His Son Jesus. By no other name are we saved. By no other name do we have eternity held for us as a reward. Blessed is the name of the Lord our God, who has shown us His love by sacrificing His Son in our stead.

“Why are you cast down, O my soul,
and why are you in turmoil within me?
Hope in God; for I shall again praise him,
my salvation and my God.”

(Psalms 42:11)

Let us raise our hands in praise to the Eternal, who listens to the righteous. Let us bow our knees to Him who guards our way, blesses our plans and prospers our lives. Give ear to Him who listens to our prayers, for He is good always.

No other God can deliver us from evil as the Lord our God can. If He can raise mountains from an empty field, spawn life from deep oceans and build planets out of nothingness, how difficult would it be for Him to give us peace in our time of calamity?

Give thanks to God, for He is a blessing to all who believe. He will encourage the faithful, protect the weak and raise the dead to everlasting life. Show honor to Him who gives life to all, for He will be there always, never forsaking us.

We Will Reign with Him

Believe Jesus is the son of God who has taken away the sins of the world, and we will have eternal life. God will forgive us, and we will not enter into judgment before His throne. He will set us aside, bless us with our reward, and we will dwell and reign with Him forever.

“Blessed and holy is the one who shares in the first resurrection! Over such the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and they will reign with him for a thousand years.”

(Revelation 20:6)

If we believe Jesus died on the cross meant for us, rose after three days and three nights, and now sits at the right hand of the Father, we will be saved. We do not have to worry about spending eternity in darkness, far and away from the light of God.

Our salvation is sure. Our reward is safe. Christ Jesus paid it all for us, and our redemption is set. No manner of threat can take away what is ours, for God has already sealed it in eternity. Blessed are we the saints who have given our lives in dedication to our Father.

O how great our God is to have shown us mercy by blessing us with eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Blessed is His name above all that is, was and is to come, for His dominion will never fail. Blessed are we, for we will reign with Him.

No God Is Great Like Our God

O how wonderful God is to have established His kingdom in His children, to have given His purpose to His offspring. We are as blossoming trees, waiting for that moment when we will change into what God has planned for us to become.

“Your way, O God, is holy.
What god is great like our God?
You are the God who works wonders;
you have made known your might among the peoples.”

(Psalms 77:13-14)

Blessed be God, for His name is holy, pure, and faithful. The earth bears His glory and the stars bow to His presence. No one is greater than our God. He has given His Son for our salvation. No greater sacrifice is there than for Him to have given His life for us.

What manner of people ought we to be if our God has planted eternity in our hearts? We should be as He is, loving and forgiving toward those who hate us. They know not what they do. We ought to love the poor, bless the homeless and give to those who are wanting.

Show mercy to the proud; they have their reward, while we have yet to receive ours on the day of judgment. Bless those who curse us, for their time will come to kneel before God and give an account for their deeds.

No god is great like our God.

Jesus Rose from the Grave

The good news of the gospel is that Jesus Christ our Lord died, was buried and rose on the third day to sit at the right hand of the Father. As Christians, our hope is in Him through whom we have salvation by His sacrifice on the cross for our sins.

“For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep.”

(1 Thessalonians 4:14)

How great is our God to have given His Son so that we could have salvation. No other event throughout all ages compares with what He purposed from the beginning, to redeem us from death so that we would have eternal life.

As Christ rose from His grave, He defeated Death and Hades, after which there were no more enemies to conquer. His majesty is sure, the breadth of His domain is without end and His kingship over all things will last forever.

O wonderful is He; Jesus Christ our Lord, for His name is holy and pure. Through Him, we have eternal life, and through Him, we have salvation, which God has given to us freely because we believe He is the Son of God.

Blessed are those who believe Jesus, as we will one day rise, for Jesus rose from the Grave!
