Praise Him Forever!

Only God could have given us the truth of His mercy, sacrificing His Son Jesus so that we could live. His grace on us is from everlasting to everlasting. His love for us will never abate. Praise Him in all our dwellings. Praise Him forevermore.

Praise him with trumpet sound;
praise him with lute and harp!
Praise him with tambourine and dance;
praise him with strings and pipe!
Praise him with sounding cymbals;
praise him with loud clashing cymbals!
Let everything that has breath praise the LORD!
Praise the LORD!

(Psalms 150:3-6)

Our joy comes from knowing God has redeemed us from sin. No longer is the penalty of iniquity over our heads. He has foreknown us, given us mercy, and we will forever dwell in His house. How great is God to have blessed us with His love.

Let the whole earth praise God. Let everything that has breath praise His name. His love for us will never fail. His joy will always fill our heart. Wonderful is He who has blessed us with knowing His salvation. Praise and bless the Lord, for He is good.

Praise God with outstretched hands to the heavens. Praise Him with song and dance. Praise Him by doing good to all, loving others as He has loved us. Let us praise Him with all our heart, with all our soul and with all our mind. Praise Him forever!

Love Your Neighbor as Yourself

During times of trial, our comfort comes from knowing we have God by our side, who loves us, and has given His Son Jesus to pay for the penalty of our sins. How difficult would it be then to love our neighbors as much as God so loved us?

“And he said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’”

(Matthew 22:37-39)

Our desire should be to comfort our neighbor as God comforts us. For God has not held anything back from us, so why should we hold anything back from our neighbor? Give freely to those in need, comfort them and love them with your whole heart.

Bless your neighbor as yourself. Show them mercy as God has shown us mercy. If they are hungry, feed them. If they are thirsty, give them drink. If they are cold, embrace them with all that God has given us.

No manner of affliction ought to prevent us from doing good to others. Through trial, God lives in us to bless those who need light in the midst of darkness. Let your light shine. Bless the weary in deed by extending your hands to them. Love your neighbor as yourself.

God Will Deliver Us

Through our many trials and tribulations, God is there, and He will deliver us. He will not abandon His people. He will cover us with His hand and lead us to safety. His protection will be on those who love Him.

O LORD my God, in you do I take refuge;
save me from all my pursuers and deliver me,
lest like a lion they tear my soul apart,
rending it in pieces, with none to deliver.

(Psalms 7:1-2)

As these days turn dark and our vision diminishes, let us remember the Lord, for He is good. He will not let us suffer more than we can bear. This life is but a vapor and our true reward is in the salvation the Lord promised through His son Christ Jesus.

Let us be glad and cheerful knowing God has a place prepared for us. Our comfort is in His Word. His Word is a light unto our feet, a provision for our mind and a treasure for our heart. He clothes us in security and provides us with what we need. He will give us the strength to overcome our fears.

We will count on the Lord’s wisdom as a standard against our troubles. His mercy will not fail us. His power will penetrate the very marrow of our being, providing us the encouragement we so truly seek. In all things, fear not, for God will deliver us.

Stand Firm

How wonderful a truth it is to know the Lord will never leave us nor forsake us. He so loved us that He gave His only Son Jesus so that we might have salvation. How great is God to have given us hope in our time of distress.

“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.”

(Ephesians 6:12-13)

Bless the Lord, O my soul, for He is good. His mercy is on us always. He delivers us from evil, blesses us when all seems lost and gives us of His abundance so that we are without want. His grace upon our lives will remain forever.

God’s deliverance for us will never fail. He pours into us His Spirit, lifts us from our knees and restores our soul. His promises are sure, His joy will live in us always, and His love for us will never end. O great are you, Lord!

Therefore, let not this world’s trials discourage you. For we are God’s and no one can take away the salvation promised to us and held in Heaven for us, through Jesus Christ our savior. Until the last day, in the face of adversity, stand firm.

Christ Is Our Salvation

Whatever trial we may be facing, whatever tribulation we may be fighting and whatever storm we may be suffering, God will rescue us. His mercy will never fail. His spirit will never leave us. He will always be there for us. Our hope is in Jesus.

“For God has not destined us for wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, 10 who died for us so that whether we are awake or asleep we might live with him.”

(1 Thessalonians 5:9-10)

Believe that Jesus is the Son of God and your salvation is sure. For no sin is greater than God’s forgiveness. God the Father’s deposit of the Holy Spirit in us is our guarantee of that salvation, through Christ our Lord’s sacrifice.

Stand firm in the sight of turmoil. Steady yourself and wait for God’s mercy to fall upon your life. No one can take away your hope in Christ. For that hope is what will carry us through the fire and mold us into what we will be.

Believe God and He will not fail us. His peace is with us now, through the Holy Spirit who lives in us. We can do all things through Jesus. He is the One who strengthens us. He will lead us away from the fiery grave. Christ is our salvation.

Walk in the Light

Brethren, do as Jesus did, doing all that our Heavenly Father willed for us through His Son. For through Him, we have life and our salvation is in Him, whom God has given, so that we also will one day stand before God and receive our eternal reward.

“If we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.”

(1 John 1:7)

Jesus is all we need. God will forgive us if we believe Jesus is His Son. If we walk in His ways, doing good to all, blessing those who curse us, giving to the poor, showing mercy to those who spite us, then we indeed will know Him.

If we do not do as Jesus did, as He had taught His disciples, then we sin and darkness is in us. If we say we have not sinned, then we are liars and the truth is not in us. For the truth and the light is in those who do what Jesus did.

Therefore, brethren, serve God, and glorify Him in all your works. Feed the hungry, give to those who are lacking, look after the widows and provide for the orphans of the church. As Jesus walked in the light, let us walk in the light also.

Give Glory to the Lord

Great is God in the highest, for He made all things and sustains all things through His Son Jesus. His glory is as an unquenchable fire that will devour all evil in its wake. There is no one like God for He is good, pure and just.

“Hear and give ear; be not proud,
for the LORD has spoken.
Give glory to the LORD your God
before he brings darkness,
before your feet stumble
on the twilight mountains,
and while you look for light
he turns it into gloom
and makes it deep darkness.”

(Jeremiah 13:15-16)

God is merciful and kind and extends His Grace on those whom He has called. His ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts. Save for His compassion for us, we would not have the Helper to guide us to do His will and love as He loves.

God was the One who set the earth on its axis. He is the One who brings rain to a parched land and sun to a dark place. He sees the suffering of His people, and He will bring us relief. There is no one like God, for He will rescue us from our grief.

Trust in God Almighty, the Creator of heaven and earth. Give praise to Him who saved us. He is our Lord, our Father and our God. No one else can intercede on our behalf, except for He who gave us life. Give glory to the Lord.
