Pray Without Ceasing

What may seem impossible to us is possible for God. What may seem extraordinary to us is ordinary to God. He takes the weak of the world, imparts His spirit and builds His church. We are of the body of Christ, fashioned of the same countenance and saved by God’s grace.

“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

(1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)

Our purpose is to glorify God in all that we do. With Jesus living in us, we can do all things. Through Him, our destiny is sure. How much more would God do for us if He has already sacrificed His Son in order that we might be saved?

The devil will place stumbling blocks in our way. He will try to discourage us. He will bring us to tears. Yet, no amount of evil from that fallen angel will thwart God’s plan of salvation. God’s plan for us to live forever with Him will prevail.

Look to God for help. Call to Him, for He is good, righteous and just. He will not allow us to fall. He will lift us from our trials, comfort us with His Word, and deliver us from all adversities. His way leads to life, and He will always keep us safe in the midst of turmoil. Pray without ceasing.

  1. Can my prayer guide me to read this post and feel the expression of encouragement, comfort, and deliverance from adversities? Yes. I think so. Thank you. I wrote, “Our relationship with infinite love is the force to be reckoned with. Infinite love is everywhere. We are not infinite love. Infinite love is not us. Our bond with infinite love remains inseparable, gratifying, pleasant, and practical to becoming and being,” in the book, Science and Spirituality: Celebrating the 150th anniversary of the first edition of Mary Baker Eddy’s Science and Health.
