Blessed is the one who seeks to store treasures in heaven; for God’s blessing will be upon them who do good and seek to give God the glory in all things. They will hunger and thirst no more. God will satisfy them and provide for all their needs.
“Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.”
(Matthew 5:12)
We do not need to be anxious about the things of this world. One day all these things will pass away and all that will remain is our love for God and the reward He will bestow to His children on the great day of judgment. Blessed are those who have ears and understand.
What manner of people ought we to be if our reward awaits us in heaven? Be kind to one another. Give to the poor. Save the broken-hearted from their pain. Bless all with the knowledge of God and Jesus Christ the Savior.
Show everyone compassion, for the Lord shows compassion on us when we sin. Have mercy on those who do not know better, for they do not know what they do. God will bless us in the end; therefore, great is your reward in heaven.
Amen 🙏 A wonderful reminder to live with eternal purpose.
All for His Glory; our true reward is with Him. 🙏✨
When we seek God’s kingdom first, everything else will fall into place, Willie! Bless you

God bless you also!
Sometimes it may seem hard to be kind to other people but we should all try the world would be a better place if there was more kindness and tolerance with those who are different from us
Being kind to those who are unkind to us is not within our nature, but it is within God’s nature. For this reason we call out to him in prayer and ask for understanding and for his love to rule in our minds and in our hearts. God bless you always, Jo-Anne!
Parents-that includes your children. Nagging, berating, and ostracizing them is not discipline. Be firm, but patient and recognize their need for guidance-as our Holy Father guides us. 🙂
I find it easier to have compassion on people who hurt me when I realize that they are only reacting out of their pain and brokenness as do I.
Yes, when we see things as they see things, we gain an understanding of why God loves us the way he do–unconditionally and without restraint. God bless you, Joseph!
Yes, thanks the Lord says go to mercy with those folks
Dear Jack Flacco,
Sometimes I have a hard time being ‘kind’ to those who have hurt me. There are busybodies in this world who seek to do others harm, and I’ve found many in the church and in women’s groups and in the neighborhood.
I do know that I will not be forgiven if I don’t forgive others, but I don’t have to hang around the ungodly. We are not supposed to have fellowship with the world. It is hard to overlook when people slander you to others right in front of your face, but we are to be thankful in everything.
Blessings to you for your always-timely messages.

Peace be with you, Sue. During those times when those around us are the most cruel is when we need God’s love to work through us so we can glorify him with all that we do. May his blessings be with you also!
Thank you, Jack Flacco. Amen.
