Should the people desire peace, let they themselves be peaceful. Should the people want quiet, let they themselves be quiet. There is no anger in peace. There is no anxiety in quietness. God comforts the spirit of the saints with His love.
“And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.”
(James 3:18)
Do not be deceived, brethren. Many speak in Jesus’ name, but are not from Jesus. Many will sow seeds of division to satisfy their own lustful desires. Give the unrighteous their own place to bury their dead. We, however, will follow Jesus. For His love lasts forever.
Show mercy to the just and the unjust. Be at peace with all and never quarrel with the demons. Jesus has won that battle. His angels surround the saints, and no one can stop Heaven’s armies. Love Jesus always.
Be slow to anger and thoughtful in speech. Restrain your tongue, for it is as a sword, which cuts both ways through the skin and through the marrow. Be vigilant to sow peace in all your dealings, for a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace.
Well shared 💐 we should be kind to others ☺️ we should live in peace ✌️ that our God wants

Amen, an amazing and great post. Keep up the great work in Jesus Name.
May God’s grace and mercy forever be in your life, Scott.
Thanks Jack, and may God work in you as well to keep up the great work
I read this after a long day at work, where I negotiated peace, with children and parents alike, for the majority of the day. During a lengthy round-and-round call with a student’s unsatisfied dad, what was left of my energy drained—like the phone receiver was made of kryptonite.
Anyway, reading your post just now—in the evening—rather than my usual morning scan—was just what I needed. The scripture from James is a reminder that peace making is worth the effort. Today, I went 4 for 5, which ain’t all that bad.
But I still have no energy.
Thank for sharing! Yours were just the right words at just the right time.
May Jesus’ peace with you always daily and may God provide you with the strength you need to go on about your daily activities. God bless, David.
That is a beautiful and important passage, Jack.
May God bless you always, Mary.
Awesome 🤩
God bless!
Thank you for these uplifting posts. We are called to holiness. But that can be a challenge.
All things are possible through God! May He bless you, Anna!
And you, too.
I really liked this, thank you
May God bless you always with peace, Joanne.
You have a way with words, Jack Flacco. A lesson to me. Anger has been one of my failings. I’m getting better, but I haven’t arrived. Be slow to anger, slow to wrath…. I’m working on it.
Thank you for your timely post; and I pray the Lord blesses you greatly, Jack Flacco!

Thank you, Jack. And with you also! Sue
May God bless us with the discipline to control our loose lips and speak kindly to and about others-or don’t speak!
May His grace be upon us always, Nancy!
