He Is Christ Jesus

God sent Jesus, His Son, into the world so that we might know the fullness of His love for us, for He had given Him as a sacrifice for our sins. We no longer bear the burden of our guilt, as Christ bore it for us on the cross. He died so that we might live.

“And he asked them, ‘But who do you say that I am?’ Peter answered him, ‘You are the Christ.’”

(Mark 8:29)

Jesus gave sight to the blind, gave voice to the mute and gave hearing to the deaf. The lame walked in His presence, the dead rose by His command and demons scattered at His appearance. He is the Christ with whom God is well pleased.

Christ died on the cross, and after three days and three nights, He rose again. He appeared to the apostles, who recorded His appearances so that others would believe. The gospels are a proclamation, which testify, without a doubt, that Jesus is God’s Son.

There is no one like Jesus. By His name, we do great works. We heal the sick, feed the poor and give joy to the sorrowful. No other being that lived, and is living now at the right hand of the Father, is more important to us. He is Christ Jesus.

  1. Thank you, Jack.

So, pray directly to the Father while giving thanks to the Son?

“Father God ……… In Jesus’s name I pray. Amen.”

    Correct?

  2. Hi Jack. Thanks for replying.

So when I speak to the Father I am also speaking to the Son and vice versa?

So I can address God as Father and also as Jesus?

One more thing, do I call him Yeshua? Does it make a difference?

    Thanks in advance.

    1. God is the Father and Jesus is the Son. When you pray, pray to God, for because of what Jesus did on the cross, we no longer need someone to act as our representative in God’s counsel in Heaven. We can go directly to Him with all our needs. God the Father is known by very many names, as is Jesus also. They are not limited to one name. May God bless you always!

  3. Is Jesus, God? Is only the Father, God? How does one speak to Jesus, as God and therefore Divine or as a person, an exemplar but not God? Do I address the Father and give thanks to the Son or are the Son and Father one and the same? I ask because The Lord’s Prayer starts with “Our Father in Heaven…”

    1. Philip said to him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us.” Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own authority, but the Father who dwells in me does his works. Believe me that I am in the Father and the Father is in me, or else believe on account of the works themselves” (John 14:8-11).

  4. This beautifully written post captures the essence of Christ’s love and sacrifice for us. Jesus truly is the embodiment of God’s love and grace. He came to earth to save us from our sins and to show us the way to eternal life.👏
